Troopers Work Three Cherokee County Accidents Thursday

Alabama State Troopers worked three separate accidents in Cherokee County on Thursday, with two of those occurring on County Road 22 earlier in the day. No one was hurt in either of those wrecks – taking place at 11:30am and 12:30pm respectively.

That third accident took place around 9:30pm, two-and-a-half miles north of Cedar Bluff on County Road 92 and resulted in a 19 year old Gaylesville woman, Sabrina Mays, being hurt.

No additional information regarding the extent of Mays injuries was noted on the report.

Meanwhile troopers reported working two accidents in DeKalb County and one in Etowah – with no calls being received from Calhoun County; remember state troopers and other area law enforcement personnel will be out in full force throughout the remainder of the holiday travel period, which ends at midnight Sunday.
