Mrs. Wilma Davis

Mrs. Wilma Davis, age 91 of Gadsden, passed away Friday, December 18that her residence.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, December 22nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Joel Williams officiating; burial will follow in Fairview cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Survivors include her son, Charles (Marilyn) Davis of Centre; daughter, Linda Davis of Gadsden; brothers, Irby Fowler of Grove Oak, Herbert (Margie) Fowler of Dutton, James (Sue) Fowler of Glencoe, Alvin Fowler of Boaz; sisters, Frances (David) Downer of Rainsville, Vera Mae (Gerald) Westmoreland of Collinsville; 2 grandchildren, Nick (Chelsie York) Davis of Jacksonville, FL, Zach (Rachel) Davis of Fort Bragg, NC; a great grandchild, Everett Davis; and several nieces & nephews; special pets, Watson & Madeline.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Fowler and sisters, Syble Rowell, Irene Broadhead, Julia Smith.

Mrs. Davis was a native of Dekalb County, the daughter of the late James Henry and Agnes Lucille Turner Fowler and was a member of Fairview Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Big Oak Boys Ranch, Etowah County Humane Society or the Fairview Cemetery Fund.
