Jacksonville Man Turns Himself In In Connection To Armed Robbery In Piedmont

Howard Maurice McCauleyA Jacksonville man turned himself in to police and was arrested Friday evening, in connection with the armed robbery of the Raceway Service Station in Piedmont last week.

Piedmont Police Chief Freddie Norton said that 29 year old Howard Maurice McCauley is charged with first-degree robbery and was being held in the Piedmont City Jail Friday on a $60,000 bond.

McCauley can be seen on video surveillance entering the store wearing a hoodie over his head and a bandanna covering his face brandishing a pistol before he left with in an undisclosed amount of money.
