“One More Win” The Cedar Bluff Tigers Play For It All On Thursday

Supporters from Cedar Bluff to Leesburg lined the streets in support of the Cedar Bluff Tigers on Wednesday morning as they head to Tuscaloosa for the Class 1A State Championship Game against defending State Champions Maplesville at Bryant Denny Stadium on Thursday afternoon, Students, Faculty, School Board Members and members of public packed the gymnasium at Cedar Bluff High School for a pep rally.

The Tigers secured their second state championship game appearance since 2006 with a 53-40 victory over Decatur Heritage.

They will play for the 1A title on Thursday at the University of Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa against defending champion Maplesville (12-1) at 3 p.m.

Maplesville defeated Linden 50-19 in the other Class 1A state semifinal game on Friday.
