Mr. Roy Weaver, age 93 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, December 1st at Cherokee Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be 1:PMFriday, December 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter and Freddie Reynolds officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Thursday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons; Honorary Pallbearers will be Lawrence Driver and Staff & Residence of Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Traffanstedt Weaver; sons, Jimbo (Lisa) Weaver of Centre, Forrest (Peggy) Weaver of Centre, Mannie Paul Weaver of Centre; daughters, Margie (Fred) Hutcheson of Piedmont, Jean (RP) Garrison of Sand Rock, Pat (Wayne) Lindsey of Centre, Sherry (Don) Stinson of Centre; brother, Randall Weaver of Dalton, GA; sister, Nellie (Harland) Cochran of Centre; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Don Weaver.
Mr. Weaver was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Mannie Paul and Gussie Mae Campbell Weaver.
