As the holiday season approaches, I am reminded how fortunate I am to serve with such an outstanding group of people.  The employees of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office are dedicated, hard-working, and committed to serving the citizens of our County.  These men and women lay their lives on the line every day.  I encourage you to give them a friendly smile or a kind word and remember them in your prayers.  I am truly thankful to have the opportunity to serve with them.

I am also blessed to have a wonderful loving family and great friends to support me.  I appreciate their patience and understanding for all the times that I’m called out during dinner or the middle of the night.  Their support means more than I could ever express in writing.

Most of all, I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to the residents of Cherokee County.  It’s your efforts, working together, that make our county a great place to live, work, and raise a family.  I would like to thank the citizens for the tips and assistance you’ve provided through the tip line, website, and in person.  I sincerely appreciate your commitment to the safety of our community.  The support you’ve shown me and the entire Sheriff’s Office during 2015 has been overwhelming.  Thank You!

I look forward to 2016 with great optimism.  My commitment to the citizens of Cherokee County has never been stronger.  I will continue to work with you to improve the quality of life for each resident we serve.
