A 63-year-old Rome woman is in jail accused of entering a vehicle and stealing nearly ,700 in Christmas presents.

According to Floyd County Jail reports, the incident occurred at Mount Berry Square Mall on U.S. 27 and the Walmart on Redmond Circle.

Melva Louis Lee of a Callier Springs Road residence is charged with theft by receiving and entering an auto.

She also has a hold from Clayton County.
