The Cherokee County Board of Education work session which had been scheduled for today (Monday, November 16th) has been re-scheduled yet again.
It will now be held prior to this Thursday’s Board Meeting; that work session will be held at 4:30 that afternoon with the sole item on the agenda being the continuation of the one-cent sales tax for education.
The regular meeting will get underway at 6:00pm with the agenda including a presentation of AdancED Self Assessment for Centre Middle School, Gaylesville and Sand Rock; the Board will also receive the September 2015 Bank Reconciliation, Cash Balance & Financial Report; a Review of Accounts Payable for October 2015; Adoption of both the Revised Sex Offender and Revised Complaints & Grievances Policies; Acceptance of bids for the Spring Garden Ag Building and Gaylesville Gym; Personnel; Travel; and Review of Job Postings, in addition to and any other business which may come before the board.
That meeting is open to the public, and will be held in the Central Board Office on East Main Street in Centre.
