Man Arrested After Crashing his Vehicle into a House

Al Highway 3A 20 year old Floyd County man, has been arrested in connection with the weekend wreck, that sent a truck crashing into a home in the 4200 block of Alabama Highway.

The truck barreled into the house early Sunday morning, going into a child’s bedroom, very nearly hitting the youngster’s bed.

Fortunately, no one was hurt inside the home – and both the driver of the truck and a passenger in the vehicle escaped injury as well.

According to Floyd County Jail reports Jordan Blake Reeves had been under the influence of Marijuana at the time the accident occurred; he addition to the drug charge, he was charged with Failure to Maintain Lane and DUI. Reeves was found with a small amount of marijuana in his possession at the scene of the wreck.
