Cherokee County Board of Education Chairman Mark Gossett has announced that he will be seeking reelection for Board of Education Place #2.
Gossett told WEIS Radio News that after much deliberation and consideration he has made the decision to run again, he said that the education of the children of Cherokee County is the most important thing we can ever do to give them a chance to succeed as adults in whatever path they may choose and he wanted to continue to do his part in serving the children of Cherokee County to the best of his ability.
Gossett went on to say that he would appreciate the support of the voters in the upcoming election. Gossett is married to the former Pamela Deavers and has two children.
