Police have now made an arrest, in connection with what was deemed a “terroristic threat”, which caused a lockdown of Oxford High School in mid-September.
Chief Bill Partridge announced that a 17 year old has been arrested in connection with that incident, adding that forensic evidence investigators “helped to identify the offender.
“
He said no additional information is being released at this time.
At around 10:00 on the morning of September 18th, the school was cleared and a lockdown was instituted, after school administrators found an anonymous note that stated a shooting would take place that day.
An exhaustive search of the facility was immediately conducted using K-9 units.
The note was taken into evidence and subjected to forensic analysis which eventually led to the arrest.
