James Phillips, age 92 of Cedartown, GA passed away Saturday, October 17th at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Tuesday, October 20that Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jo Lane Kirk officiating; burial will follow in Northview Cemetery in Cedartown, GA. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:PM Tuesday.
Pallbearers include Jason Truett, Derek Phillips, Taylor Truett, Matt Truett, Hunter Akers, Steve Phillips; Honorary Pallbearers will be Emerson Davenport, Timber Truett.
Survivors include son, Roger Phillips of Cedartown, GA; daughter, Joyce (Johnny) Truett of Cedartown, GA; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
He was precede in death by his wife, Haydeen Phillips.
Mr. Phillips was a native of Polk County, GA, the son of the late Joseph Lee and Bertha Elizabeth Lester Phillips, was retired from the City of Cedartown, GA and was of the Baptist faith.
