The name of the man killed in a head-on collision just outside of Boaz over the weekend has now been released. Marshall County Coroner Marlon Killion said 27 year old Nicholas Gene Huff was fatally injured in that crash, which took place just after 9:00 Saturday morning.
The driver of the other vehicle identified only as a 50 year old Boaz man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
That accident which occurred in the 700 block of Alabama 179 remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
