Cherokee County Board of Education to Meet Thursday

The next meeting of the Cherokee County Board of Education, will be taking place Thursday (October 8th) at 6:00pm, with a rather lengthy agenda.

Items on that agenda include a Cenergistic Update provided by Russell Jacoway; receipt of a 2015 Bank Reconciliation, Cash Balance and Financial Report; Review of Accounts Payable for September of 2015; a Review of the Revised Sex Offender Policy; Review of the Revised Complaints and Grievances Policy; ab Adoption of the Revised Substitute Teacher Policy; an Approval of the Auxiliary Teacher Salary Schedule; an Approval of McKinney-Vento Liaison Salary Schedule; Approval of Amendment to the Participant Agreement with Tallassee City Board of Education for AASB & Fairbanks, LLC Medicaid Administrative Claiming Program; Approval of Rental Agreement with Five Star Food Service for the Cherokee County Career & Tech Center; Approve Out of State Travel; Approve Contract with Dr. Matthew Remick of Pitts & Associates for Behavioral Evaluations and Consultations; the Approval of Sand Rock Title I Tutor Contracts; Acceptance of Bids; Personnel; Travel; a Review of Job Postings, and any other business which may come before the board.

That meeting, which is open to the public, will take place in the Central Board Office on East Main Street in Centre; once again, that’s this Thursday, starting at 6:00pm.
