Northwest Georgia Authorities Seize Over 130 Marijuana Plants

POT 4Northwest Georgia authorities have been searching for, and finding illegal marijuana “grow sites” in both Chattooga and Walker counties over the past several days.

Around twenty marijuana plants were reportedly found growing in the Holland community of Chattooga County last week according to Sheriff Mark Schrader.

And prior to that the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force working with the Governor’s Task Force Helicopter, found eleven different “grow sites” in the southwestern portion of Walker County, with 113 mature, cultivated marijuana plants being seized during the operation.

The estimated street value of those plants was around $135,000.
