The Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association recently honored Terri Hyatt with the 2015 Northern Star Award.
Representing the highest achievement in North Alabama tourism, the PEAK Awards honor individuals and organizations that have had a major impact on tourism in North Alabama.
Hyatt is the owner and operator of Bay Springs Country Inn and Campground located on Weiss Lake in Centre, Ala. and is the epitome of going above and beyond expectations.
With a heart for helping others, Hyatt goes out of her way to make visitors feel welcome which has many visitors returning to stay at Bay Springs.
Hyatt has also served on the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce for several years and now serves on the Cherokee County Tourism Committee.
