Pamela Deanne Smith of Anniston has been indicted by a Calhoun County Grand Jury on the charge of Murder in connection with the shooting incident which claimed the life of another Anniston woman.
Smith allegedly shot Casey Lynn Payne with a shotgun following an argument in May of last year. A manslaughter charge was filed some four months later; Smith was later released on bond of $50,000.
Another warrant was issued for her arrest following the indictment and she is being held in the Calhoun County Detention Center without bond awaiting an arraignment hearing which has been set for Thursday, September 24th at 9:00am.
