There was a two vehicle accident shortly before 1:30pm Thursday – at the red-light in front of Wal-Mart. The mishap involved a Ford Explorer and a Nissan Versa; it appeared that no one was seriously injured.
The Centre Police & Fire Departments, Cherokee EMS, and Cherokee County Rescue Squad were dispatched to the scene.
