One driver was transported to the hospital for treatment and the other was uninjured in a two car collision in downtown Centre on Tuesday afternoon taking place at the red light in front of Wal-Mart
The mishap occurred just after 4:00 p.m. and involved a Toyota Pickup Truck and a Chevy Equinox, the driver of the pickup was taken by Cherokee EMS to the hospital for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries, while the driver of the Chevy, although shaken up, appeared to be uninjured.
The Centre Police and Fire Departments and Cherokee EMS responded to the scene, we’ll have additional information as soon as Centre Police Department reports are released.
