Arthur Jerome Thomas, a 24 year old resident of Gadsden, is being held without bond in the Etowah County Detention Center after allegedly making a terrorist threat. According to law enforcement officials, someone reported seeing a man enter a home on Carolyn Lane. After the incident the intruder reportedly threatened that witness and then also threatened to do something to their home.

Subsequently there was a fire at the home, which is being investigated as a case of arson.

The matter remains under investigation and additional charges could be forthcoming.
