One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident taking place about 7:15 on Monday morning, just off Highway 9 near the Nichols Animal Clinic in Centre.
That wreck involved a 2015 Honda Civic driven by 54 year old Timmy Westbrook of Centre and a 2014 Kia Soul being driven by 53 year old Richard Bibb, Jr., also of Centre.
Westbrook was unhurt, however Bibb was transported by EMS to Cherokee Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
