The Cherokee Eye Clinic is proud to welcome Dr. J.R. McKissick to the full-time clinical staff, Dr. McKissick is a 2007 graduate of Gaylesville High School and a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences.

He is a 2015 graduate of the UAB Medical Center School of Optometry. He and his wife Dr. April McKissick are both doctors of Optometry.

On Friday members of the staff at Cherokee Eye Clinic along with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce joined Dr. Myron Wilson in welcoming Dr. McKissick as he joins a staff who will continue to provide the most comprehensive eye care to Cherokee County and surrounding areas.
