Cherokee County authorities arrested three people on various drug charges Wednesday.

Charles Don Hensley, age 62, and Tonya Renee Rodriquez, age 33, both of Cedar Bluff, were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center at around 9:00pm.

Hensley was charged with two counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and two counts of the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – in addition to, one count of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree

Meanwhile Rodriquez was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.

Both remain in the detention center awaiting setting of bond.

Cynthia Renee Williams, age 46 of Gadsden was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

She was booked into jail just before 1:30pm – bonding out approximately an hour later.
