There have been a number of large rattlesnakes killed across the Cherokee County area over the last several days.

As you work out in the yard or in your gardens this summer be conscious of where you put your hands and always be on the lookout for snakes as you never know where one may be hiding.

Also, make sure to keep an eye on children playing in the yard and remember to keep a watch on your pets as they are susceptible to being bitten easily.
