A single-vehicle accident in Centre sent one person to the hospital on Friday morning.
Centre Police and other emergency personnel responded to the crash just before 7:30am to find a pickup truck that was severely damaged after striking a steel beam behind a signpost on the roadside alongside West Main Street.

The driver was fitted with a neck brace and transported from the scene for treatment.
