A 65 year old DeKalb County man has pled guilty in federal court to a count of Possession of Child Pornography and in exchange for that plea Randall Kevin Florey will serve 48 months in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release; he must also register as a sex offender

Additionally, he won’t be allowed to have contact with children under the age of 18 without supervision; he will also not be allowed to use a computer.

Florey was placed under arrest, after the State Bureau of investigation discovered evidence during a child pornography file-sharing investigation, which led back to Florey’s computer.

A subsequent search of his home led to the seizure of his computer, several flash drives and an external hard drive. According to court documents, Florey admitted to downloading and watching child pornography.

Investigators stated that a total of 34 videos of child pornography were found depicting sex acts performed on children under the age of 12.
