The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man and a woman on Saturday who are accused of first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.
Jeffery L. Epps, 24, of Gaylesville and Brandie N. Webb, 27, of Fyffe, are being detained at the Cherokee County Detention center.
The Major Crimes Unit responded to a robbery call Friday night in Gaylesville. A woman had been assaulted and several of her items had been stolen.
Authorities transported the victim to a hospital in Rome, GA.
