Four Injured In Single Vehicle Accident In Cedar Bluff Over The Weekend

Four people were injured in a single vehicle crash in Cedar Bluff over the weekend.

According to Cedar Bluff Police, a 2008 Dodge Charger driven by 17 year old Keishona Midcalf of Centre was traveling east on Boundary Avenue when she lost control causing the vehicle to slide, the car then left the roadway, struck a fence owned by the Cedar Bluff Utility Board and then struck a tree before coming to rest.

Midcalf, along with two passengers, 18 year old Shanenic Walker and 10 year old Shanila Jackson were airlifted from Cedar Bluff School by Lifesaver to Huntsville Hospital.

A fourth passenger identified as 9 year old Shanava Jackson was transported to Gadsden Regional by Cherokee EMS.

The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation – Cedar Bluff Police and Fire Departments, Cherokee EMS and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
