Mr. Jerry O. Andrews, age 69, of Leesburg passed away Thursday July 9th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Sunday, July 12th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev Josh Prater officiating; burial will follow in Sheppard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. Sunday.
Pallbearers include Andy Andrews, Aaron Andrews, Austin Andrews, David Ozment, Todd Ozment, and Barry Bottoms.
Survivors include son Dan (Tish) Andrews of Piedmont; daughter Emma (Todd) Ozment of Gadsden; brothers Buddy Andrews of Huntsville, and Earl Andrews of Anniston; sisters Nancy Bonds of Jacksonville, Ruby Andrews of Jacksonville, and Billie Ruth Roberts of Jacksonville; grandchildren Andy Andrews, Aaron Andrews, Austin Andrews, Emily Rouse, and David Ozment; great grandchildren Barrett Andrews and Rhett Andrews along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Hubbard Andrews and daughter Pamela Bell.
Mr. Andrews was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Charles and Mattie Johnson Andrews and was a member of Slackland Baptist Church. Mr. Andrews was a member of the National Guard.
