Several fire departments were dispatched to a report of a house fire in Sand Rock at around 12:15 Thursday afternoon.
The Sand Rock, Leesburg, Centre and Collinsville Departments responded to the location at 2690 County Road 1, where they encountered an attic fire at the vacant home.
Although it was established that the blaze began in the attic, the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
