Mrs. Linda Chambers, age 62 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, June 17th at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 4:PM Friday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Ricky Pollard and Rev. Eugene Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:PM until 8:PM Thursday at Perry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include: Randy Baker, Alvin Roberson, Tommy McDaniel, Bobby Doeg, Chad Hopper, and Jon Lockridge.
Survivors include; her husband, James “Max” Chambers of Centre; son, James “Blake” Chambers of Birmingham; daughter, Julie (Rich) Early of Centre; brothers, Bobby (Louise) Hopper and Caldwell (Jane) Hopper both of Centre; 2 grandchildren, John Ross and Lauren Grace Early; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church or the family will accept flowers.
Mrs. Chambers was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Homer Elton and Ruby Faye Coheley Hopper. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
