The Rome Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect in a recent homicide.

The victim, Travious Floyd, was shot on West 5th Ave. at approximately 1:45 a.m. on May 24, 2015.

The suspect got out of a late model, black Dodge Challenger RT with light colored stripes. He fired several shots at a crowd of subjects. The victim was struck by the gunfire and died from his wounds.

According to witnesses, the suspect was on stage with Bandit Gang Marco during a performance at “The Peach”, in Rome, Georgia just prior to the shooting.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25-years-old, 5’7” to 5’10” tall with a muscular build.

The suspect is believed to be from the Metro Atlanta area.
