When police arrived on the scene at 60 Sunny Lane – they spoke with a female victim who told the officers she had been robbed at gunpoint; the woman told officers the assailants had taken money and other items from her.

Officers located a house where they believed the suspects to be.  As they approached the house the suspects fled on foot.  The officers obtained a search warrant.  Inside the house they found suspected methamphetamine, syringes, spoons used for drugs, a small amount of marijuana and numerous prescription drugs.

The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department came to assist in the search for the suspect.  Deputies located two of the suspects under a mobile home on Roberts Street, along with the stolen money and some of the stolen items.

A woman was also taken into custody along with the suspects for acting in concert with the two males.  The woman was identified as Jennifer Suzanne Salas; the two males were identified as Timothy Evans and Chris Edwards.

Summerville Police Investigator Ty Hutchins said that the weapon used in the armed robbery turned out to be a sawed-off BB gun that had been modified with pistol grips and painted black.
