Mrs. Martha Chumbler Elrod age 73 of Gaylesville passed away Saturday May 23rd at her residence.
Graveside services will be 1 PM Tuesday May 26th at Randall Cemetery with Lynn Chumbler officiating.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Survivors include son, Ronald Elrod of Gaylesville; daughter, Sherri (Brett) Scott of Gadsden; brother, Jack (Carol) Chumbler of Gaylesville.
Mrs. Elrod was preceded in death by brothers, John “Dink” Chumbler, Alton Chumbler, Doyle Chumbler; sisters, Pat Helms and Wilouise Colbert.
Mrs. Elrod was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Richard Ralph and Maggie Lee Pointer Chumbler and was of the Baptist faith.
