A total of four people, two adults and two children were air-lifted for treatment following a single-vehicle crash along Highway 431 in Guntersville on Sunday morning.

That wreck took place at around 10:30am near the intersection with Pleasant Grove Road – and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.

One adult was flown to Huntsville Hospital for treatment while a second adult and the two children were air-lifted to UAB Hospital – afterwards one of the children was transferred to Children’s Hospital of Alabama at Birmingham.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
