31 year old Roger Helm is back behind bars following a very brief escape from the Etowah County Detention Center on Sunday evening.

According to reports – Helm, who was serving time for burglary, theft of property, resisting arrest and attempting to elude, managed to leave the facility just before 8:00pm.

Details regarding his capture have not yet been released, however the sheriff’s office stated that he was back in custody in under two hours.
