CCHS Golf Team Travels to Limestone Springs for Sectional Match Up

The Cherokee County Warriors varsity golf team traveled to the Section 4A Qualifying Match on Monday at Limestone Springs Golf Club in Oneonta.  The Warriors played alongside players from at least twelve other area schools including Saks, North Jackson, and Munford.

Stone Alexander led Cherokee County with an 18-hole score of 87, followed by Caden Garrett’s 89.  Paul Wynn brought in 98, JR Young 99, and Evan Atkison 109, for a team score of 373.

Stone Alexander was also in a three-way tie for 4th place Individual and competed in a two hole playoff, finishing second.
