Sarah Bright with Cherokee Electric Co-Op told WEIS Radio News that TVA will be having a planned Power Outage at the Gaylesville Substation later Wednesday afternoon.

Bright said that the outage will affect only those customers who are served by the Gaylesville station and will last approximately one hour from 3:30 – 4:30.

 The necessary is due to some maintenance that is being done at the facility and no one should be alarmed when your power goes out.
