A Cherokee County man is facing multiple charges, after being arrested just after midnight Saturday; 42 year old Roscoe LaScott Covington from Centre was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center at 12:15am and charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of property third degree, receiving stolen property first degree and with attempting to elude.
He remains behind bars awaiting setting of bond.
