Two Arrested on Drug Charges in DeKalb County

duo 10Two people were arrested on drug charges after DeKalb County Deputies responded to the 9-1-1 call from a residence on County Road 603 in Ft Payne.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they witnessed a male subject looking out the door of the home, and at the same time a female was seen jumping from a window of the residence, attempting to flee toward the roadway; she was quickly caught.

The man finally responded to the deputies demands to come to the door, and as the officers entered the home they noticed a sawed-off shotgun beside the door; they also discovered a pair of knives and methamphetamine on the subject later identified as 53 year old Ft Payne resident Randy Wagner.

The woman, 29 year old Tierra DeShay Jones of Rainsville, was found to be in possession of marijuana. Wagner was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest – while Jones was charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree.

Both were transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center, where they await setting of bond.
