A Semi-Truck was destroyed by fire on Friday afternoon at a residence just outside of Centre on County Road 71.
Fire units from Mt. Weisner and Centre Fire Departments arrived on the scene to find the rig fully engulfed in flames – no one was injured in the blaze.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene, the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
