Body Found in Marshall County Pond Now Identified

The body recently discovered in a Marshall County pond has been positively identified.

According to Coroner Marlon Killian, the body was that of 28 year old Jamie Carpio-Perez – officials say they do not know where the man had resided.

The decomposed body was found by a boater in a pond near the intersection of Moon Road and Otinger Drive.

Killian says the cause of death remains a mystery and the case remains under investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
