Retired & Senior Volunteer Program Now Assisting with Tax Preparation for the Elderly and Low Income

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (otherwise known as RSVP) is now assisting the elderly (those age 60 and above), low income taxpayers, and others with their tax preparation.

All of their volunteers are certified through the IRS, to prepare federal and state tax returns; they also e-file – which is the quickest, safest way to file a return. Their office is open in the Cherokee County Administration Building in Centre every Tuesday from 10:00am – 2:00pm through April 14th.
