Troopers Work Two Separate Single-Vehicle Accidents in Cherokee County Tuesday

Alabama State Troopers worked two separate single-vehicle accidents involving injuries in Cherokee County on Tuesday.

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports the first was a rollover on Highway 273 near Daniel’s Chapel Church at 11:35am; that wreck involved a 1995 Lincoln being driven by 57 year old Linda Norris of Cedar Bluff.

The second accident took place at 6:00pm on County Road 650 – approximately four miles west of Gaylesville, and involved a 1997 Lincoln, being driven by 26 year old Jason Ragland of Centre.

Both Norris and Ragland were listed as being injured – however no additional information regarding the extent of their injuries was immediately available.

The reports did note that both had been wearing their seatbelt.

Both accidents remain under investigation by state troopers.
