Mrs. Myrtice Mae Trimm, 89, of Rome, widow of the late Walter Lee Trimm, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Redmond Regional Hospital.

Born May 1, 1925 in Centre, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Franklin Young and the late Beaulah Austin Young. Mrs. Trimm was a homemaker and a member of West Rome United Methodist Church, where she attended the C J Raley Sunday School Class and was a member of the United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Harwell A. & Jimmie Sue Young.

Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Lee Trimm of Gainesville, GA, and Steve K. Trimm and his wife Laura of Cedartown; sister, Kathleen Anderson and her husband Harvel of Centre, AL; brother, Ray Young and his wife Ellon of Alexandria, AL; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Mark McLendon officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:30 at Miller & Richards Oaknoll Chapel.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Justin Barker, Jason Barker, Kimball Parker, Van Smart, Ronnie Brewer, and Andrew Mayberry.
