According to Deadline, Kingmakers, which is a like the ABC show Revengefeatures on a twentysomething taking on a new identity after a loved one had been taken away, centers on a young man whose sister is found dead during her freshman year at an elite Ivy League university. He adopts a new identity to infiltrate the school and its century-old secret society – consisting of privileged students, ambitious faculty, and high-profile alums – in order to investigate her death.

WRGA reports road closings for the filming of a television pilot episode at the end of March were discussed at Wednesday’s Public Works meeting.

Director of the Rome Sports Commission Ann Hortman says the areas that will be most affected will be the 2nd Avenue and 5th Avenue bridges since the rivers will be filmed. Broad Street will also be affected.
Hortman explains the impact of having areas of downtown Rome and Floyd County used as a set is big on an economic level, such as the crew shopping and eating locally.
“I’ll be really interested when all of this is over and done with to really finalize the economic impact on Rome and Floyd County, but I can guarantee it’s going to be over a million dollars in our community, so it’s just a really great thing for us to do.”
During the filming times, Rome and Floyd County law enforcement officers will be used to help direct traffic.
