The Cherokee County Warriors Varsity fell to the Piedmont Bulldogs by a score of 10 to 5 in spite of an outstanding performance by Jaren Lockridge.
Lockridge went three-for-three at the plate with a home run in the first inning and doubles in the third and seventh; however, the Warriors fell to the Bulldogs 10 to 5 in seven innings Monday at Piedmont High School.
McCord claimed the win in relief for the Bulldogs – with Whitten and Blanchard teaming up for four hits and five RBI’s for the dogs.
Logan Green was tagged with the loss for the Warriors, lasting just a third of an inning.
