Two people were fatally injured in a single-vehicle accident in Marshall County on Tuesday afternoon.
Both occupants of that vehicle – 86 year old Robert A. Clark and 83 year old Joanne Clark of Scottsboro, were killed when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree, on Highway 79 between Scottsboro and Guntersville at 12:25pm.
Joanne Clark reportedly died at the scene – with Robert Clark passing away after arriving at a nearby emergency room.
The cause of that crash remains under investigation.
