Icy Road Conditions Cause Two Traffic Accidents In Centre

Emergency crews in Centre responded to two separate single vehicle accidents in the downtown area on Friday afternoon occurring within just minutes of each other.

Icy conditions were factors in both mishaps with the first occurring on West Main Street in Centre in front of Cherokee Glass as the driver attempted to top the hill, hit a patch of ice and spun out of control striking a tree – she was treated at the scene for what appeared to be minor injuries.
