A Marshall County woman is currently facing federal charges after allegedly taking more than $800,000 from a physical therapy business where she worked as the office manager.
According to that nine-page indictment Teresa Ann LaRue of Blountsville stands accused of embezzling $851,000 from Therapy Plus Fitness and owner, Steven King – over a period of time stretching from July of 2006 to May of 2013.
That indictment states that LaRue had used forged checks and electronic funds transfers to move money into her own personal bank accounts.
